This Leominster property had a real access problem. Getting from the driveway to the front of the house was awkward, and the grade drop on the left side of the yard had no structure holding it in place. It was one of those situations where fixing one thing meant addressing the other at the same time.
We came in and built a clean concrete walkway that connects the driveway straight to the front entry. No more uneven ground, no more picking your way across a slope. Just a solid, direct path that makes getting in and out of the house simple and safe. That kind of straightforward functionality is easy to overlook until it's done right.
The block retaining wall on the left side of the driveway ties the whole layout together. It holds back the grade change cleanly and keeps the area from eroding over time. We built it to be structural first - something that does its job year after year without shifting or settling.
When a property has both a grade issue and an access issue, solving them together is almost always the smarter move. It reduces disruption, keeps the finished result cohesive, and means the grading and drainage are planned as one system rather than two separate fixes bolted together.
The graded soil you see around the walkway is prepped and ready for the next phase - whether that's seed, sod, or plantings. We set the stage so the property can move forward without any loose ends left behind.
