Trench Drain Install That Stops Water at the Garage Door

Water pooling near a garage is one of those problems that seems minor - until it isn't. Once runoff starts making its way under the doors or sitting against the foundation, you're looking at potential damage that's a lot more expensive to deal with than the drainage fix itself.

Here's what we were working with: a driveway apron right at the garage where water had nowhere to go. The solution was a full trench drain install running the width of both bays. We cut and excavated a clean trench across the concrete, set the channel in place, and backfilled around it to lock everything in tight. A laser level helps us get the slope right so water actually moves the way it's supposed to - not just sits in the channel.

Once the concrete cured and the grated covers went on, the finished product sits flush with the surrounding surface. Clean lines, no trip hazard, and nothing that looks out of place on a property this well put together. The steel grating handles vehicle traffic without any issue, and the channel itself is sized to move a serious volume of water when it really comes down.

Getting ahead of it protects your driveway, your garage floor, and the structure itself. It's one of the more straightforward drainage solutions we install, and the results speak for themselves.
